Connecting the Pearl River industrial park with a local pilot free trade zone, this road will be burdened with a large portion of the city' s economic transportation volume.
Basically perpendicular to Wanqingsha River,in the south Nansha district, this important economic channel crosses 13 river flows named from number 2 to number 14.
Most segments of the road are now in service except a small one crossing number 11 to number 14 flows which is still in construction.

The road is designed as a 60-meter-wide two-way road with six lanes in standard segments but eight lanes in bus stop segments and crossing segments, and greenlights vehicles running at a speed of 60 km per hour.
There are 4.5-meter-wide sidewalks on both sides, and each crossroad has a pedestrian overpass as well.
An area for bus stops was reserved on both sides of the road.Given the slim possibility of bus passengers disembarking here, distance between two bus stops was slightly increased to the range of1.2 km to 1.4 km.
When finished, the road will effectively strengthen the traffic capacity of the district and contribute significantly to the city' s external links.
