Executives of Huawei, Thunderbolt, Royole, iFLYTEK, and Cloudwalk have been confirmed to attend the upcoming event, according to a list posted on CNBC’s official site.
At the roadshow, the district' s party chief Cai Chaolin referred to Nansha as a place of "RISE", with "R" standing for "Reform", "I" for "Innovation", "S" for "speed" of development and "E" for "Environment", "Eating", and "Enjoyment".
Nansha is indeed a rising place playing a pivotal role in the reform of state-level new development areas. It is home to more than 170 AI enterprises, over 120 health care enterprises and also a number of new-energy companies, and its GDP increases at an average rate of 11 percent per annum.
Besides, Nansha is a magnetic livable tourism destination with a good eco-environment, special delicious sea food and fruits, and international cruise tour resources.
At the roadshow CNBC anchors Emily Tan and Geoff Cut introduced the conference in general terms and cordially invited global innovative technological companies to it.
Peng Jun, co-founder of Chinese autonomous-driving startup Pony.ai and Gu Hong(Brian Gu), vice-chairman and president of XPeng Motors, took part in a seminar at the event focused on new generation public transport targeted at optimizing commuting in big cities.

Pony.ai, derived from Silicon Valley, was located in Nansha in 2017. Its ranking of 5th and first in the global and domestic automatic driving field respectively can be attributed to Nansha’s early opening up in its central urban areas.
