Evergrande will invest 160 billion yuan (23.13 billion) to build three bases for new energy vehicles in the city’s Nansha district.

The new energy vehicle R&D and production base is expected to have an annual output of 1 million vehicles.

The motor R&D and production base will be able to support one million complete vehicles' motors and electronic control systems.

The new energy battery R&D and production base will build a 50GWH scale power battery super factory.

The Guangzhou Municipal Government will continue to deepen the reform of the business environment, provide quality and efficient services, and fully support the development of Evergrande in Guangzhou.

As one of the three major automobile production bases in China, Guangzhou has a strong industrial base and cluster advantages in the field of new energy vehicles.

One of the world's top 500 enterprises, Evergrande has established a complete and top-notch industrial chain of new energy vehicles since it laid out the new energy automobile industry last year.

With the world's top technology and an entire industrial chain layout, Evergrande has taken the absolute lead in the field of new energy vehicles.

The strategic cooperation this time means that the car-making plan is accelerating. Evergrande New Energy Vehicle is expected to become a new calling card for Guangzhou and indeed China's auto industry.
