Guangzhou’s Nansha district recently held a commencement ceremony of the Sun Hung Kaireal estate transportation hub complex project in Qingsheng Hub Cluster.

The project is the first Guangdong-Hong Kong cooperation project in the cluster with a total investment of 6 billion yuan ($870 million)and a total construction area of about 327,000 square meters.
It is to be developed using the TOD model, and as a landmark large-scale comprehensive project located in the traffic center of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It also bears the characteristics of the integration of industries and cities' development, and the balance of people's career development and living demands.
"The Qingsheng Hub Cluster in the Pilot Free Trade Zone is an important technological innovation node in the Greater Bay Area. It is a major platform for Nansha to achieve Guangdong-Hong Kong cooperation.
“It carries international science and technology innovation industries such as international education, artificial intelligence, internet technology, technology research and development, transformation of results, and business services, "said Dong Ke, deputy Party secretary of CPC Nansha District Committee and mayor of Nansha.
"The construction of the transportation hub complex project will effectively promote the accelerated formation of the spatial form of the Qingsheng hub cluster and the development of high-end industrial functions. It will play a role in promoting Nansha's cooperation with Hong Kong and Macao and the construction of the Greater Bay Area," he added.

The project plans to build new landmark office buildings, large shopping malls and apartments with public greening and rest platforms to provide high-quality commercial activity space.
It will connect the high-speed rail and subway Qingsheng station and will include a transportation interchange lobby, a long-distance passenger station, and a public transport terminal.
