The project is located in the lower reaches of the Longxue south water way on the north side of Xinlong Bridge. The overall land area of the project, a type of integrated dock storage, is about 462,000 square meters.

The front wharf will provide 12 1,000-ton multi-purpose barge berths (the structure is designed for 3,000 tons) along a shoreline length of 828 m. Its annual designed throughput is 5.45 million tons. The rear storage land is designated for a bonded warehouse of about 300,000 sq m.

The total investment of the project is about 2.36 billion yuan ($341million). The project will start construction at the end of 2019, with the first phase expected to be put into operation at the end of 2021.

After the completion of the project, the company will focus on the global fast-moving consumer goods supply chain operation business (Global Quality Distribution Center), and carry out cross-border self-trading logistics between Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao through the cooperation of Hong Kong airport air cargo businesses.

Cai Chaolin, party secretary of the CPC Nansha District Committee and Pan Yuzhang, deputy director of the Administrative Committee of Nansha Development Zone attended the event.
