Thirty-six of them have been promoted across the whole country, and 90 have been replicated in Guangdong province.

There are many leading innovation projects such as the world's first Hong Kong + Bonded Port Area aircraft cross-border sub-leasing project and the cross-border e-commerce---Nansha model.

Nansha is taking advantage of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to further deepen innovation.

At a recent press conference, Nansha released the Trial Measures for System Innovation Promotion in Nansha Development Zone (Nansha Area of Guangzhou Pilot Free Trade Zone).

As the first local normative document, the measures reflect the innovative, pragmatic and tolerant characteristics of Nansha, and should further stimulate its innovation vitality.

Nansha will speed up construction of a comprehensive cooperation demonstration zone and build a new hub for reform and opening up.

The Innovation Measures regulate the basic procedures of institutional innovation, including innovation registration, organization and implementation, assessment and evaluation, and summary promotion.

They reward collectives and individuals that have made outstanding contributions to institutional innovation, and explore incentive mechanisms offering innovative intellectual property protection. They also clarify the mechanisms for correction of faults in institutional innovation.

Liu Jiajun, deputy director of the Innovation Work Bureau of the Nansha Development Zone, released the ten institutional innovations and 30 best institutional innovations in the Nansha area of the Free Trade Zone.

The ten major institutional innovations focus on key areas and links involving trade, investment, finance, and government regulation, which will further promote reforms and improve openness.
