China Southern Airlines Company Limited ("CSAIR"), headquartered in Guangzhou, operates the most transport aircraft and the most extensive domestic air network in China. Currently, the company has 16 branches and 6 subsidiaries, a general aviation company in Zhuhai, 23 domestic sales offices in Hangzhou and Qingdao as well as 68 foreign offices in countries such as Singapore and New York. 

By 2017, China Southern Airlines operates over 750 passenger and cargo transport aircraft, including Boeing 787, 777, 737 and Airbus A380, 330, 320, the first batch of the airlines in the world that operates Airbus A380. In 2017, CSAIR has a passenger volume of more than 126 million, ranking first among Chinese airlines for successively 39 years. CSAIR has more than 2,000 daily flights to 224 destinations in 40 countries and regions across the world and offers 300,000 seats. Through close cooperation with its SkyTeam partner airlines, its global route network spans 1,062 destinations to 177 countries and regions and nearly every major city worldwide.

In recent years, CSAIR continued its efforts to create an international aviation hub for the Canton Route, making it the first gateway between mainland China and Oceanian and Southeast Asia's countries.
