The Guangzhou Marathon started at 7:30 am on Dec 8.

A total of 26,000 participants took on the 42.19-kilometer course in Guangzhou, known as "One River, Two Banks".

The race included a 19-km segment in Haizhu district, accounting for nearly half of the marathon course, which was enriched with many Haizhu elements, making for a highly enjoyable experience.
