Huangpu boosts agricultural innovation for high-quality growth

A seminar on the high-quality development of the agricultural industry was recently held at the Longping Academician Port in Huangpu district.

The meeting focused on key issues such as the development trajectory of the agricultural industry in Huangpu, technological innovation, and work strategies, discussing the agricultural industry's path to high-quality development.

In 2024, Huangpu's agricultural industry took the lead in introducing measures to promote the high-quality development of rural vitalization, resulting in increased grain production, improved output value in the agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, and fishery industries, and more.

Since 2020, Huangpu has seen the addition of 78 leading agricultural enterprises, including three national-level ones, demonstrating strong development momentum. Advanced agricultural machinery such as a precision rice seedling transplanter was showcased at the Guangdong High-Quality Development Conference, while high-quality rice varieties were promoted in different regions.

In addition, construction on the Longping Academician Port has been completed, and several research institutes have received awards, showcasing the achievements and strength of technological innovation.

Huangpu will accelerate the practical application of achievements and technological innovations to promote the upgrading and modernization of the agricultural industry.
