One of the highlights of this fair was the Dushan county cultural performance from Guizhou, which showcased the charming culture of Qiannan Buyei and Miao autonomous, captivating the audience. On stage, the melodious and captivating Buyei ethnic mountain songs and the lively flower lantern dances made the audience feel like they had stepped into that mysterious land.
The fair featured a special folk performance, where the provincial intangible cultural heritage project "Dance of Pixiu (a lion-shaped creature with wings)" impressed the audience with its robust and vigorous dance moves. In the afternoon, the launch ceremony of Cantonese Opera Arts Week and the Cantonese Opera performances began. Adorned in colorful costumes, the actors delivered flawless renditions of classic Cantonese Opera pieces with their superb singing and delicate performances, earning rounds of applause from the audience.
