Guangzhou emerges as pioneer in autonomous driving

Global tech giant NVIDIA has invested tens of millions of dollars in WeRide, leading to a surge in Pony.ai's stock price.

Meanwhile, XPeng Motors achieved impressive sales performance in February, taking the lead in domestic intelligent driving and initiating a journey to export its intelligent driving technology overseas.

As a pioneer in intelligent driving in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Guangzhou brings together three major forces: WeRide, Pony.ai, and XPeng Motors.

WeRide and Pony.ai are hailed as the "Twin Stars" of autonomous driving, freely navigating Guangzhou's open roads. XPeng Motors aims to become a leading global AI automotive company, planning to enter more than 60 countries by 2025.

Additionally, cross-industry giants such as Baidu and Didi have entered the intelligent driving sector with their algorithms and capital, making Guangzhou a "super testing field" for smart driving.

Guangzhou also boasts dark horse players like eVTOL, EHang Intelligent Technology, and XAG, which have launched innovative products such as "flying cars" and autonomous agricultural machinery.

The "Three Musketeers" of Guangzhou have collaborated to create a unique Guangzhou-style track, bringing intelligent driving into daily life and leading the future of smart driving.
