GDD shines in 2024 performance review

In 2024, the Ministry of Commerce evaluated 229 national-level economic and technological development districts. Guangzhou Development District (GDD) stood out, ranking 2nd in actual foreign investment utilization and 6th in total import and export volume nationwide.

The Economic Daily reported on GDD's 40 years of development experience, emphasizing its leading position in high-level openness to the outside world. As one of China's first national-level economic and technological development zones, Huangpu district has become a hotspot for multinational company investments, consistently ranking first in foreign investment utilization nationwide.

GDD continues to upgrade and reform in optimizing business environment reforms, becoming the preferred destination for global corporate investments. By expanding international cooperation platforms, the district accelerates the flow of capital, technology, and talent, constructing a higher-level open economic system.
