Huangpu to build largest new energy vehicle city in South China

BYD's strategic partner, Guangzhou Intelligent Automobile City Company, signed an agreement to settle in the industrial park under the Guangzhou Development District (GDD) Investment Group - Kaitou Intelligent Industrial Space.

The company primarily engages in intelligent automobile trading and delivery services, promoting the development of supporting industries such as intelligent automobile technology research and development, modification, training, and financial services.

The Kaitou Intelligent Industrial Space covers a total construction area of 323,400 square meters, focusing on the intelligent connected and new energy vehicle industry, dedicated to creating a specialized and innovative industrial park.

This space will become the largest intelligent new energy automobile city in South China, helping to promote the high-quality development of automobile manufacturing and green energy industries in GDD.

It is uniquely designed to meet the needs of heavy equipment production, fully optimizing production space utilization.

In the future, it is anticipated that the space will influence resources within the automobile industry in GDD, fostering collaborative efforts to develop innovative formats for intelligent mobility. This initiative is poised to support the establishment of various facilities such as an intelligent automobile testing center, a research and development center, a charging and energy storage center, a live broadcasting center, and an export service center.

These continuously improving industrial parks provide specialized and customized carrier services for landing major industries in GDD.
