Huangpu show business continues to thrive

Since the beginning of this year, show business in Huangpu district has been thriving, with a constant stream of concerts attracting large audiences.

The Huangpu bureau of culture, radio, television, and tourism has approved and recorded 138 commercial performances, totaling 2,275 shows. The number of large-scale events with over 5,000 attendees has seen rapid growth, attracting 606,000 spectators, a significant increase compared to last year.

The success of Huangpu's show business can be attributed to the collective efforts of venues, services, and commercial districts. Huangpu boasts the well-equipped Baoneng Guangzhou Arena, which is capable of hosting world-class large-scale performances with 18,000 audience seats and 60 VIP boxes, providing an excellent venue for concerts.

Huangpu has optimized approval services while advancing commercial district development, creating the Baoneng Guangzhou Arena-Zhitai Square integrated commercial, cultural, tourism, and sports area, which has become a hot spot for consumption.

Large-scale concerts not only provide a boost to surrounding dining, accommodation, and retail businesses, increasing merchants' incomes, but also attract celebrity performers and audiences, establishing a new tourism trend among young people.
