The 2nd Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition recently concluded in Guangzhou.
Participating projects from Huangpu district collectively won a total of 13 awards, including one special prize, one gold, two silver, six bronze, and three honorable mentions.
This year's competition included seven tracks - Next-Generation Information Technology, Semiconductors and Integrated Circuits, Biomedicine and Health, High-end Equipment Manufacturing, New Materials and New Energy, and Marine Research and Applications. Huangpu's 75 projects advanced to the finals in all seven tracks, ultimately securing 13 awards.
Doctor Tao Tao from Southern Power Grid Technology was awarded the special prize, while Doctor Li Xiaojun's project from SEEV received the gold prize.
Additionally, two projects received silver prizes, one from Guangdong Weihua Intelligent Technology and the other from HYPSET.

The success not only showcased the academic excellence and problem-solving abilities of doctoral and postdoctoral researchers in Huangpu but also highlighted the achievements in research platform construction in the district.
