Beauty industry flourishes in Huangpu

The beauty industry has been thriving in Huangpu district, which is home to over 1,700 beauty-related brands.

The industry is showing a promising trends in comprehensive layout and full-chain development. International brands such as Procter and Gamble, Amway, and Colgate are firmly established in the market. Meanwhile, companies with independent intellectual property rights like Huanya, Ruisen, and Meizhong are rapidly rising. Other brands include Olay, Meifubao, Marubi, and Guyu.

As a national high-tech development zone, the district is home to institutes such as Guangzhou National Laboratory, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area National Technology Innovation Center, and the Guangdong Institute for Drug Control.

It has established numerous service platforms and supports companies in establishing engineering technology research centers and enterprise technology centers, promoting rapid advancement in technology and manufacturing levels within the beauty industry.

Huangpu encourages companies to combine internet brands to seize opportunities for the development of the beauty industry. The district has introduced the "Beauty Valley 10 Measures" support policy to assist beauty companies in conducting technological research and development.

Regular visits are conducted by Huangpu to serve beauty companies as effectively as possible, ensuring their needs are met. For example, the district helped Runben Biotechnology to raise funds for factory research and development projects, while assisting Southern Beauty Valley Industrial Park in attracting more companies, forming an initial industrial ecosystem and injecting vitality into the beauty industry.
