Lianhe Street in Huangpu ranks 5th in 2024 Vitality Street Top 500 List

Lianhe Street in Huangpu district recently ranked fifth on the 2024 National Vitality Street Top 500 list, becoming the top sub district among those in Guangzhou.

The list evaluated 83,436 streets nationwide, excluding municipalities and regions in Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, based on economic vitality, innovation vitality, and consumption vitality.

In 2023, Lianhe Street achieved a total industrial output value of 193.98 billion yuan ($26.66 billion), accounting for about one-tenth of the district's land area and accounting for a quarter of the total economic output, maintaining the top position in the district for the sixth year in a row.

Lianhe Street is home to numerous high-tech enterprises and technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as national key laboratories, enterprise technology centers, and engineering research centers.

It serves as a hub for the headquarters economy, attracting many Global Fortune 500 companies and listed enterprises and forming industrial clusters in green energy, new displays, high-end equipment, next-generation information technology, new materials, biomedicine, beauty, and health.

Additionally, leading new energy vehicle companies such as BYD, Tesla, Xiaomi, and NIO have established delivery centers in the area.

Lianhe Street is dedicated to serving small and medium-sized enterprises, strengthening support and services to promote their rapid growth.
