Huangpu partners with Tsinghua University to establish social practice base

Huangpu district and Tsinghua University recently joined forces to establish a graduate social practice base. Following the signing of the agreement, the "Tsinghua Friends-Huangpu Talent Scholarship" was set up to support outstanding students.

During the pilot period, a total of 27 doctoral students and one master's student participated in 21 research projects, facilitating communication between enterprises and universities and laying the foundation for collaborative industrial research projects and talent acquisition.

A group of the Tsinghua PhDs was also organzied to visit Guangzhou, conducting in-depth research at local research institutions and enterprises. The university practice students achieved impressive results in the projects, including completion of research projects, solving technical issues, patent applications, translation work, and more, creating economic benefits for enterprises. Dozens of companies also posted multiple job openings at Tsinghua University, promoting talent mobility.

This collaboration has not only been successful in the construction of the practice base but has also extended to the field of industry-university-research cooperation. Through the "Gathering Talents in Guangzhou" project, Huangpu has managed to develop a comprehensive industrial talent policy system, promoting the entry of 100,000 university students into Huangpu and aiming to create a strong talent ecosystem that attracts, retains, and gathers talent.

This collaboration showcases the deep cooperation and achievements of both parties in talent cultivation and research innovation.
