Huangpu spearheads Guangzhou's eastern center development

The Guangzhou municipal people's government recently unveiled the master plan for the eastern center, highlighting Huangpu district's pivotal role in driving high-quality development in the area.

Spanning across both Huangpu district and Zengcheng district, with a combined area of 896 square kilometers, the plan is designed to leverage Huangpu's robust industrial foundation alongside Zengcheng's expansive spatial assets to jointly create an open, efficient, and innovation-driven modern urban zone.

As the vanguard of Guangzhou's eastward strategic initiative, Huangpu plans are poised to elevate its urban functionalities and service capabilities as an international comprehensive transportation hub, an advanced manufacturing base, and a center for international technology innovation. This underscores its capacity to spearhead future advancements in Guangzhou and the broader Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
