On Aug 8, a significant milestone was reached in Guangzhou's Huangpu district with the completion of the topping-off phase of the Dalang village renovation project.
The refurbishment includes approximately 240,000 square meters of residential housing and over 40,000 square meters of collective property, encompassing a total of six buildings with around 2,100 housing units.
Huangpu has been actively progressing urban village transformation initiatives, with a current focus on 68 key projects.
The successful transformation of Dalang village not only showcases the district's ability and achievements in urban renewal and modernization, but also promises to provide a better living environment for many more villagers in the near future.
These efforts demonstrate a commitment to economic growth, cultural heritage preservation, shared prosperity, and improvements in public services and urban living standards.
