Huangpu discusses advanced technology application

The 2022 (8th) Industrial Match-making Conference for Advanced Technology Application and Industrialization Development was held in Huangpu district, Guangzhou, on Dec 27.

At the opening ceremony, the Guangzhou Development District Investment Group signed four advanced technology industrialization projects, namely the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) Semiconductor Information Industry Base, the China-Russia Science City Industrial Park, and Achievement Transformation Investment Fund, Weipu Medical Achievement Transformation Valley, as well as the Emerging Electronic Materials Research Institute.

Led by Hao Yue, an academician at the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and professor at Xidian University, the GBA semiconductor project will build a semiconductor information industry base in the China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City.

The China-Russia science city and investment fund aim to build a China-Russia science city industrial park with Huangpu characteristics.

The science city project also includes introducing the Emerging Electronic Materials Research Institute project to the Guangzhou Huangpu Laboratory. The fund will focus on investing in beauty and cosmetics, health, advanced manufacturing, and intelligent manufacturing industries.

The Weipu Valley project is led by Song Erwei, an academician at the CAS. It will build a biomedical science and technology innovation achievement transformation park in Guangzhou Science City.

The Emerging Electronic Materials Research Institute project will focus on polyimide, photoresist, 5G copper-clad laminate, and other fields to build an innovation platform.

At the conference, famous domestic academicians and industry experts focused on cutting-edge information and technological innovations in the fields of new-generation information technology, and new energy.
