Huangpu promotes global economic governance

The Key Laboratory for Global Governance and the Construction of a Community of Shared Future for Mankind is unveiled in China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City.

Two Guangdong provincial key laboratories for philosophy and social sciences have been unveiled in China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City in Guangzhou's Huangpu district recently.

The Key Laboratory for Global Governance and the Construction of a Community of Shared Future for Mankind will focus on research in four areas: global economic governance, global governance and international organizations, the Belt and Road Initiative, as well as the differences between countries and regions.

It will serve as a key platform for multidisciplinary integration, multi-team collaboration, as well as long-term cooperation among industries, universities, and institutions.

The Key Laboratory for the Construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Regional Coordinated Development was also unveiled. It will focus on research around five areas, such as the rule of law and regional coordinated development, economic and regional coordinated development, governance innovation and regional coordinated development, as well as the development of digital economy and data governance.

The settlement of the two laboratories is a vivid example of Guangzhou Knowledge City's practice to build a theoretical research system for the coordinated development of the Greater Bay Area.
