GDD builds national offshore youth entrepreneurship center

The Guangdong-Hongkong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Huangpu) Intellectual Property Youth Entrepreneurship Center is unveiled in China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City on June 22.

The Guangdong-Hongkong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Huangpu) Intellectual Property Youth Entrepreneurship Center of the National Offshore Entrepreneurship Base for Overseas Professionals officially opened in Guangzhou Development District (GDD) on June 22, becoming the first offshore base cooperation space in Guangzhou.

The center is well equipped with offices and supporting facilities. It boasts a number of flexible conference venues and multi-functional spaces, including a lobby cafe with Singaporean characteristics, a roadshow theater, a multi-functional conference room, a panoramic video conference room, as well as a leisure area and a business negotiation area.

It will gather and integrate various intellectual property elements and resources at home and abroad, opening up the "last mile" for domestic and foreign innovation subjects to seek diversified professional services regarding intellectual property.

GDD was approved to establish the National Offshore Entrepreneurship Base for Overseas Professionals in November 2021.

GDD will make use of the youth entrepreneurship center to build the offshore base into an important platform for overseas talent and technology introduction, innovation and entrepreneurship project incubation, as well as scientific and technological achievement transformation in the Greater Bay Area.
