Huangpu Comprehensive Bonded Zone clears $20b in goods

Since receiving approval to do customs clearance on March 8, 2021, the value of goods entering or leaving the Huangpu Comprehensive Bonded Zone has reached 127 billion yuan ($20 billion), a year-on-year increase of 26.14 percent.

Over the past year, Huangpu customs has given full play to the Huangpu Comprehensive Bonded Zone's regional driving effect, as well as promoted the rapid development of LCD screen bonded maintenance, the bonded storage of imported automobiles, and non-ferrous metal logistics distribution.

Suidong customs, a subsidiary of Huangpu customs, actively guides enterprises to make good use of the tax exemption policy of bonded import maintenance goods and self-use equipment in the zone, thus promoting the development of LCD production and maintenance.

Over the past year, enterprises in the Huangpu Comprehensive Bonded Zone enterprises have repaired more than 30,000 LCD screens, with a value of over 20 million yuan.

Suidong customs also actively solves the transportation problem of non-ferrous metals by promoting the bonded logistics policy, simplifying customs clearance procedures, and reducing logistics costs.
