Huangpu prominent in govt service innovation

Huangpu district's transparent administrative examination and approval procedures and intelligent and efficient administrative examination and approval services have been recognized as Guangdong Government Service Innovation Cases.

The nomination was announced at the 6th Guangdong Electronic Government Affairs and New-Type Smart City Development Conference on Dec 16. The entries were selected by experts of the Electronic Government Association of Guangdong Province from more than 160 cases.

The Huangpu government service data management bureau is honored at the 6th Guangdong Electronic Government Affairs and New-Type Smart City Development Conference.

Huangpu leads the country in launching an open system on April 28 to make the entire process of administrative approval transparent to individuals and enterprises. The system has pushed government departments to streamline and expedite administration approval procedures under the supervision of the public.

Meanwhile, the district has also realized the instant processing of 100 government service items at intelligent machines relying on the pioneer use of remote videos, electronic whiteboards, and voice guidance.

Shan Ningwei, head of the Huangpu government service data management bureau, noted that the district will forge ahead in the construction of digital government and seek further breakthroughs in management efficiency.
