Huangpu offers COVID-19 vaccinations to foreign expats

Foreigners in Guangzhou's Huangpu district can now make reservations for COVID-19 vaccines via WeChat service platform Yue Jian Tong.

Domestically developed inactivated vaccines are used in Guangdong province, with two doses required for each recipient.

Foreigners covered by local medical insurance can be vaccinated free of charge, while others will be charged 100 yuan ($15) per dose.

A permanent residence identity card or passport with a valid residence permit should be presented at the designated site, while an informed consent and exemption commitment must be signed before vaccination.

Recipients should pay close attention to their physical condition within 14 days of vaccination and seek medical attention if feeling unwell.
