New scientific innovation corridor to rise in Guangzhou Science City

A Greater Bay Area scientific innovation corridor will be created in Guangzhou Science City by 2023 in a bid to attract the headquarters of smart science and technology enterprises.

Located in southwestern Huangpu, the project borders Central Guangpu Road and Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway in the south, Kezhu Road in the west and Yushu Park in the north. It is about 800 meters away from Shenzhou Road Metro Station.

With an investment of 4.8 billion yuan ($744 million), the project will feature a total floorage of 524,800 square meters for office areas, innovation incubation spaces, accommodation and business. The hotels and apartments are in the northern part of the complex, while the business and office areas are in the southern part.

Part of the project, a 176-m high-rise building, will become a new landmark in Guangzhou Science City.
