Huangpu Craftsman prize accepting applications until month end

The selection process for the Huangpu Craftsmen of 2020 has been launched, and each local enterprise can recommend no more than five staff before Jan 31.

Applicants should have worked in the strategic emerging, advanced manufacturing and modern service sectors in the district for at least one year.

The selection process involves preliminary evaluation of application materials, expert review, inspection, verification and public notice.

This year, the maximum number of nominees has been increased from 10 to 40. The first-prize, second-prize and third-prize winners will be rewarded 300,000 yuan ($46,500), 200,000 yuan and 100,000 yuan respectively.

Lin Xiaoqing from CSSC Guangzhou Huangpu Shipbuilding Co Ltd was nominated as Huangpu Craftsman in 2019.
