The intellectual property operation center of China Southern Power Grid unveiled its plaque in Guangzhou's Huangpu district on April 21.

The center, which is the first of its kind of a major industry in Guangdong province, will cultivate a high-value IP cluster themed around the needs in the upstream and downstream of the power energy industry chain, as well as bolster the application of IPs in the power energy industry and the transmission of scientific outcomes.

He Jufeng, deputy director of the Guangdong Intellectual Property Administration, said that the operation center should establish a useful and effective matchmaking mechanism for the IP trade and operation, boosting the development of innovation and entrepreneurship.
