A tourism route featuring four main industrial tourism attractions and several other scenic areas in Guangzhou's Huangpu district has been listed as one of the 20 provincial quality industrial tourism routes by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism on April 15.
The tourism route, covering a total length of 25 kilometers, fully showcases Huangpu's role as an important engine of the international scientific innovation center in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and a pioneer in the quality development of China's manufacturing industry.
Stop 1: Guangzhou Meteorological Satellite Ground Station
Guangzhou Meteorological Satellite Ground Station, an important part of China's meteorological satellite ground application system, is one of the four backbone ground stations in the country.
The station is equipped with world leading facilities for meteorological observation, as well as the first generation of satellite receiving equipment, allowing visitors to get a close look at space satellite meteorological technology.

Nanhai God Temple, a national 4A-level tourist attraction, was built during the 14th year of the reign of the first emperor of the Sui Dynasty (581-618) and has a history of more than 1,400 years.
Being the starting point of the Maritime Silk Road, Nanhai God Temple is the only one among the four sea god ancient temples in China that is well preserved.
