CSGKC initiates the first online investment and financing roadshow for new infrastructure projects on April 10.
In order to effectively implement the new infrastructure strategy from the Party Central Committee, China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City (CSGKC) initiated online investment and financing roadshows for new infrastructure projects on April 10.
The event was expected to speed-up investment in strategic emerging industries in the area and the live broadcast of the roadshow has attracted more than 220,000 views on the NetEase platform.
The event was sponsored by the CSGKC Development and Construction Office, Sanofi Innovation Hub, and China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City Investment and Development Co Ltd (referred to as CSGKC JV Co). It was organized by the Guangzhou Development District Science and Technology Financial Service Center, as well as co-organized by the Guangdong Venture Capital Association, La French Tech, and French Business Service Centre.
Sanofi Innovation Hub aims at connecting Sanofi and external ecosystems to stimulate the power of technological innovation, bridging the supply and demand of various elements, providing industry solutions, accelerating strategic initiatives, incubating innovative entrepreneurship, as well as linking with more technology companies.
The roadshow also invited five investment institutions including Hiway Capital, Oriza Venture Capital, Sangel Capital, Nest Capital, and Fortune Capital to comment on and communicate with projects. It also attracted more than 100 investment institutions and enterprise representatives.

Xu Hui, Party member and deputy director of the CSGKC Development and Construction Office, said in the opening speech that with the current impact of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic, national and global economies have been affected in an unprecedented manner. However, although the COVID-19 epidemic has separated people physically, it cannot block the desire for development and cooperation.
Xu added that CSGKC will be built into an important area and carrier for the future development of Guangzhou and Guangdong province as well as a model for knowledge-based economy and a new city.

The roadshow has not only given all the innovative companies opportunities to showcase themselves, but also allowed them to show their projects with a more complete and multifaceted view with questions from the audience.
Several high-tech enterprises, such as Sanofi Innovation Hub, Hangzhou Bangtang Network Technology Co Ltd, Shanghai InVision Digital Technology Co Ltd, EMOTIBOT Tech (Shanghai), and Hangzhou iNeuro Technology, were attracted by CSGKC and expressed their full confidence in the development prospects of CSGKC. They also confirmed their intention to have further exchanges and discussions on future cooperation with the CSGKC team, focusing on having CSGKC as their first choice as a destination for their future development.
In the future, CSGKC will also continuously support these enterprises by integrating the industrial policies of GDD and the relevant services provided by the CSGKC team.
