Guangzhou's Huangpu district has started the overall application of electronic invoices from April 1 to improve the local business environment and to bring convenience to local residents in handling taxation matters.
"The application of electronic invoices is very convenient for us as we can receive invoices online, and the invoice required by customers can be sent to their e-mails, making the whole process non-contact," said Li Yan, financial manager of Huangpu Huayuan Restaurant.
In addition, the application of electronic invoices has increased the flow speed of cars exiting parking lots as people can receive their invoice by simply scanning a QR code without waiting for the printing of paper invoices.
