Guangzhou Daily: Pilot demonstration zone on blockchain unveiled in Huangpu

The plaque unveiling ceremony for the pilot demonstration zone on blockchain development was held on March 29 in Guangzhou's Huangpu district, showcasing the city's efforts in promoting the deep integration of blockchain and real economy.

Guangzhou has been promoting the innovative development of blockchain in areas spanning finance, logistics, intellectual property, and industrial internet to gradually boost its high quality economy development in recent years under the guidance and support from both the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the People's Government of Guangdong Province. 

Currently, Guangzhou has initially formed an industrial cluster for blockchain development featuring comprehensive elements like policies, talents, technologies, products, and applications.

A training school for the cultivation of blockchain talents have been set up in Huangpu district, benefiting 20 senior presidents, 30 chief operating officers, 100 chief technical officers, and 1,000 practitioners.

It is expected that Huangpu district will be built into a demonstration area for blockchain technology in China.
