Xinhai Revolution Memorial Hall

Xinhai Revolution Memorial Hall, located on Changzhou Island in Guangzhou's Huangpu district, was established in 2011 on the occasion of the 100th Anniversary of the 1911 Xinhai Revolution to commemorate the event.

It was listed as one of the 3A scenic area in China in March 2020. The hall was expected to devote efforts to the research of the 1911 Xinhai Revolution and the collection of relevant items.

A batch of bronze statues are set up by the two sides of a long corridor, depicting heroes like Zou Rong, Lu Haodong, Qiu Jin, and Cai Yuanpei.

Two exhibitions are set up in the hall, each themed on the 1911 Xinhai Revolution and famous people in Guangdong province.

The exhibition on the 1911 Xinhai Revolution covers a total area of 4,200 square meters, exhibiting about 1,000 exhibits and scenes, allowing visitors to have a close look at the event.

Various interactive games are available in the hall, bringing history to life, as well as allowing both adults and children to experience the history through interactive games.

Activities like regular lectures and manual activities are held in the hall, gathering children to make interesting handicrafts, such as calendars, piggy banks, stationery bags, toothpaste, soaps, shampoo, and mosquito repellent.

Opening hours: 9 am to 6:30 pm (no entry after 5:45 pm) from Tuesday to Sunday. Closed on Mondays, national holidays, and under exceptional cases.
