Guangzhou knotted friendship city ties with Pest, Hungary on Nov 24 by signing a memorandum online to strengthen communication and cooperation, making it Guangzhou's 100th friendship city globally. 

Pest is located in the middle of Hungary and 12 percent of the area is national reserves, which include two national parks and 11 nature reserves. 

Machinery, construction and electronics, and automotive and manufacturing industries are a major part of Pest's economy, and the creative industry is also one of its distinctive industries.
