Hechi hosts promotion and investment event in Shenzhen
The 2025 Hechi City Agricultural, Cultural, and Tourism (Greater Bay Area) Promotion and Investment Event was held in Shenzhen on Nov 30.
Through tourism promotion, the signing of project agreements, folk exhibitions, and an integrated market, the event highlighted Hechi's distinctive identity as an "Ecological Longevity City, City of Sanjie Culture."

Its aim is to strengthen Guangdong-Guangxi collaboration, attract more visitors to Hechi, and promote high-quality development in agriculture, culture, and tourism.
Since the launch of the Guangdong-Guangxi cooperation initiative in 2016, Shenzhen and Hechi have deepened collaboration across poverty alleviation, livelihood improvement, ecological wellness, and intangible cultural heritage.
Shenzhen's support has helped lift 765,200 people out of poverty in 10 counties of Hechi. During the event, the two sides signed agreements covering tourism route development, agricultural supply chains, and intangible cultural heritage industrialization, injecting new momentum into regional cooperation.

A market displayed local agricultural products, tourism goods, creative products, and intangible cultural heritage items. The event also launched a senior-friendly travel program, with the first group of Greater Bay Area tourists departing to experience its unique wellness resources.
With its rich cultural and tourism offerings, Hechi is becoming an increasingly popular destination for tourists and investors alike. Moving forward, it will continue to utilize its titles, including World Longevity City and Liu Sanjie's Hometown, along with platforms like the Bama International Longevity Tourist Resort and the Bronze Drum Cultural (Hechi) Ecological Protection Zone.
It plans to develop eco-wellness and cultural heritage routes, positioning itself as a key tourism and wellness destination within the Greater Bay Area.
