Bala Monkey Mountain Scenic Area (4A)

Bala Monkey Mountain Scenic Area is located in Bala village, Jiulong town, Qiaoyin township, Fengshan county, 27 kilometers away from the county seat. With a forest coverage rate exceeding 95 percent, the tourist area is surrounded by mountains, while also boasting fresh air and picturesque scenery, representing a typical karst woodland.

It is home to over 10,000 mu (667 hectares) of ecological forests. There are over 600 macaques in the area, which are gentle in nature and allow visitors to get close to them.

The tourist area features a children's playground, monkey feeding area, family travel experience facilities, a pet paradise, and rural restaurant. The pet paradise houses 10 species of animals, including panda dogs, sika deer, horses, and peacocks, making it an excellent destination for family travel and ecological study tours.
