On Aug 28, in Geyasigu Scenic Area, Nandan county, Hechi city, the Baikuyao ethnic artist Dong Rong showcased the ancient skill of the Yao ethnic group known as "Over Knife Mountains, Under Fire Seas."

The Yao people are renowned for their bold and resilient character, often displaying extraordinary skills and prowess during rituals for worship, blessings, and exorcism, showcasing an unbeatable spirit.

The Baikuyao ethnic group, residing in the deep mountains at the border of Guizhou and Guangxi, is a branch of the Yao ethnic group known as the "directly-entering-socialism ethnic groups," transitioning directly from primitive social forms to modern society. The UNESCO has recognized them as a "living fossil of human civilization."

This mysterious and ancient tribe is called the "Baikuyao ethnic group" due to the men wearing white trousers that reach their knees.
