Bama makes 2022 pilot list of comprehensive rural reform

On May 9, the Ministry of Finance released the list of the pilot trial areas for comprehensive rural reform in 2022 on its website, in which Hechi's Bama Yao autonomous county was the only county in Guangxi to be selected this time, as well as the only selected minority autonomous county in the country. 

In recent years, Bama has focused on the strategic goals and tasks of rural vitalization. It has also focused on the three strategic positionings that are given by Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, namely Bama international longevity and healthcare tourism resort, Guangxi's leading base of health industry, as well as the Shenzhen-Bama big health cooperation special pilot zone, to promote high-quality eco-industry development.

In terms of the development of rural industries, Bama has built a complete health industry system, with healthy food, health services, and health technology as the three core formats, focusing on seven fields, namely natural drinking water, health and longevity food, healthcare bases, boutique sports, conferences and exhibitions, ethnic medicine, as well as life sciences and technology.

For digital village development, the county has promoted the construction of the China-ASEAN (Bama) Big Data Cloud Computing Base and the Digital Health Town, as well as promoted the deep integration of cloud computing, big data, and Beidou terminals with agriculture and rural public services.

In addition, the county has introduced measures for talent introduction and education, built a high-end talent training platform, as well as explored a new model of high-level application-oriented talent training in the agricultural field.

Bama has also promoted the construction of a rural credit system in five aspects, including economy, politics, culture, society, and ecological civilization, as well as comprehensively promoted the modernization of rural governance systems and governance capabilities.
