Guilin city recently announced the 2023 list of green manufacturing, with Guilin Guanglu Measuring Instrument Company and Guilin Esquel Group being awarded the national-level title of green factories.
Guilin boasts 12 national-level green factories, one national-level green industrial park, Guilin Economic Development Zone, and 23 regional-level green factories.
Green factories focus on the greenization of production processes, characterized by land intensification, clean production, waste resource utilization, and low-carbon energy. These factories have achieved green development by employing green building technologies, promoting green design and procurement, and developing green products.
Guanglu Company is a smart factory demonstration enterprise in Guangxi, and its research and development have reached an advanced level internationally, contributing to the construction of green factories. Esquel Group, on the other hand, has focused on reducing carbon emissions and improving energy efficiency by establishing a garden-style factory area and implementing various energy-saving measures.
The development of green factories and industries in Guilin has made significant achievements, covering various sectors such as equipment manufacturing, biopharmaceuticals, food processing, and garment manufacturing.
In the future, Guilin will continue guiding industrial enterprises toward transforming and upgrading to green manufacturing, striving to build an efficient, clean, low-carbon, circular green manufacturing system.
