Attendees were told that by 2030, the number of China's new energy vehicles or NEVs would exceed 100 million units, with an energy storage capacity of over 5,000 gigawatt hours.

It was also projected that the number of charging piles in China would top 24 million by 2025, with over 6.7 million of them being public fast-charging ones.

Hou Jinlong, president of Huawei Digital Energy Technology, stated that building high-quality charging infrastructure with a focus on fast charging was crucial for improving the charging experience and promoting the continued development of the NEV and new power systems industries.

Guilin, by 2025, is expected to continue to accelerate the construction of charging infrastructure, to increase the green advantages of its local tourism.

The Guilin full liquid cooling ultra-fast charging demonstration project was launched on the day of the Guangxi session of the summit and Huawei Digital Energy Technology signed an intended investment contract with local enterprises.

It's expected that the joint efforts of the upstream and downstream industries will be devoted to helping Guilin build a high-quality charging infrastructure system. It will be represented by full liquid cooling ultra-fast charging, support for the development of the NEV industry and a concerted effort to meet the demand for green travel.
