Vehicles arrivals surge at Guangxi's Youyiguan Border Gate
In the first half of the year, about 200,000 inbound and outbound trucks arrived at the Youyi Border Gate in the Chongzuo area of the China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ).
That accounted for 60 percent of the total in South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, a year-on-year increase of over 200 percent, reaching a high for the past four years.

The Youyiguan Border Gate is the largest land border gate between China and the ASEAN. It is one of the most convenient international trading passages, and an important node for the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor.
The facility has also moved forwards with software and hardware upgrades for its vehicle self-inspection system, in order to increase the efficiency of vehicle inspections.
The increase in imported vehicles is said to have helped alleviate the pressure on fruit import and export clearances. The current number of imported vehicles is around 100 more than the daily average, which is significant.
