Chongzuo attracts projects worth 930m yuan in Q1
The Chongzuo area of the China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) attracted four projects in the first quarter, with a total investment of 930 million yuan ($13.1 million).
At present, the Chongzuo area of the Guangxi FTZ has 36 industrial enterprises above designated size, with main annual revenue of over 20 million yuan.
In 2022, the total industrial output value of Chongzuo was 7.71 billion yuan, of which the output value of cross-border electronics information and the processing of special ASEAN products accounted for 64.2 percent of the total output value.
A new inspection and testing center there, to cost about 220 million yuan, which started construction in late September 2021, is expected to boost Chongzuo's capacity in the testing, helping companies to control their product quality.
