Since the beginning of this year, innovative systems have become the new driving force to improve the quality and volume of Guangxi's foreign trade.

The Department of Commerce of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the administrative committee of the Nanning area of the China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) have jointly set up the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Business Service Center and the RCEP Government Service Center in Nanning. This was done to build one-stop business service platforms that will serve RCEP member states.

The Nanning area of the Guangxi FTZ used State-owned enterprises to pilot the "agricultural machinery export + agricultural product import" cooperation model. This will promote cross-border industrial chain cooperation with ASEAN countries and regions.

The Qinzhou Port area of the Guangxi FTZ has established a new RCEP-oriented processing base for imported recycled non-ferrous metal raw materials.

The Chongzuo area of the Guangxi FTZ has launched the Version 3.0 China-ASEAN Free Trade Area (FTA) and promoted the "China-Malaysia Twin Parks" project. This project refers to China and Malaysia's construction of the China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park (CMQIP) and the Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park (MCKIP) in their respective countries.
