As the cargo volume at Youyiguan Port continues to grow, the Chongzuo area of the China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) develops along with it. The port has recently announced the launch of its intelligent customs clearance mode.

This year, the average daily number of inbound and outbound vehicles at Youyiguan Port, in Chongzuo, has exceeded 1,200 vehicles, which is 32 percent higher than the same period last year. From January to February, the foreign trade import and export volume of the Chongzuo area of the Guangxi FTZ reached 17.18 billion yuan ($2.49 billion), a year-on-year growth of 58 percent.

After this intelligent clearance mode was launched, the clearance efficiency of Youyiguan Port increased significantly. Even during its peak logistics period, the customs clearance time for enterprises has been shortened from three to five days to no more than 60 hours.

In order to ensure the safety of fruit imports, Youyiguan Customs carefully supervises fruits imported into China. It has established a "green channel", and has implemented a system where fruit importers can make reservations for their cargo in order to shorten the clearance time.
