On March 30, two double trolley quay cranes and three automated rail-mounted gantry cranes arrived at Qinzhou Port, marking the completed delivery of all of the port's core equipment.

The unloading of all equipment is expected to be completed on April 5, marking the start of the equipment debugging stage of Phase II of the Qinzhou Automated Container Terminal project.

The double trolley quay cranes have a lifting height of 50 meters and a forward extension of 70 meters to meet the needs of the 200,000-metric-ton berths. They can also simultaneously handle two 40-foot or four 20-foot containers.

The three core devices integrate cutting-edge technologies such as automatic control, cloud computing and high-precision scanning. They represent the most advanced level of intelligent technology in the port industry.

"In order to ensure the completion of the work schedule in the second phase of the project, we have arranged for staff in Qinzhou Port to conduct equipment debugging 24 hours a day," said Wu Congming, deputy manager of the engineering and technology department at Qinzhou Automatic Container Terminal.
