China-ASEAN agricultural trade enters electronic era
With the improvement of infrastructure connectivity between China and ASEAN member countries, along with the deepening of bilateral trade in agricultural products, the trade of agricultural products between China and ASEAN has entered the electronic era.

As the largest land entry port in China for Southeast Asian fruits, Pingxiang has attracted many e-commerce companies, including six large e-commerce companies and more than 40 small Wechat business teams. Pingxiang is also the main place for cross-border fruit e-commerce transactions for ASEAN.

In 2020, Lazada, one of the largest online shopping websites in Southeast Asia, built a cross-border e-commerce innovation service center in Nanning, attracting more than 200 companies. More than 100 cross-border e-commerce enterprises, including Alibaba Group and Ant Technology Group, have also set up operations in the China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone.
