Trade corridor to see more than 9,000 trains in 2023
As of March 22, a total of 170,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU) had been delivered via the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, up 11.68 percent year on year. This year, more than 9,000 trains will utilize the trade corridor.
Up to now, the trade corridor has reached 17 provinces, covering more than 200 ports in more than 100 countries and regions. The variety of goods has expanded from 50 to more than 940.
This year, the container throughput of Beibu Gulf Port is expected to exceed 8 million TEUs.
