The China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) recently issued measures to deepen opening-up.

The Guangxi FTZ plans to provide cross-border unmanned transportation services between China and Vietnam, improve the cross-border use of RMB for ASEAN trade, as well as further build an industrial chain and supply chain for ASEAN.

Guangxi will build a regulatory system for trade transformation and upgrading, as well as for facilitating customs clearance. It will explore automated China-Vietnam cross-border unmanned transportation modes and 24-hour intelligent customs clearance modes. It will also strive to build a China-Vietnam cross-border industrial chain guarantee channel focusing on the electronic information industry.

The Guangxi FTZ will also build cross-border industrial and supply chains for new chemical materials, Chinese medicinal materials processing, as well as automobiles.

Guangxi will provide multimodal transport of documents and property rights for the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, carry out bilateral currency settlement with ASEAN and neighboring countries, as well as promote the use of RMB in commodity trade and overseas industrial parks.
