Youyiguan Port, one of the largest land border ports for fruit import and export in China, reports that over 1,000 trucks pass through it each day.

The imported fruits, such as Vietnamese watermelon, are transported to nearby cities and then sold nation wide.

The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), the world’s largest trade pact,  took effect in January 2022 in six ASEAN member countries and four non-ASEAN countries. Guangxi has also benefited from it.

In September 2022, Vietnamese durians were allowed to enter the Chinese market. By November 2022, about 27,000 metric tons of Vietnamese durians had been imported through Youyiguan Port.
